Sew Contempo has been a prominent sewing center, sewing machine dealer, and quilt store in the Clear Lake/NASA area for over 30 years. Owner, Terri Ann Garvey grew up around sewing and quilting and is thrilled to be in this business. Sew Contempo was founded 30 years ago by Marsha Henshaw. Marsha was joined in the business by her husband, Gerry Henshaw; and they built Sew Contempo into the friendly, successful business that it continues to be to this day. All of this was done with the support of a wonderful, talented staff and teachers who offer excellent “after-sales service” to every customer. Sew Contempo is a complete sewing and quilting center with thousands of bolts of fabric and accessories for all of the newest sewing interests, as well as four brands of sewing machines. In the sewing machine department are machines at all price points from the basic trade-ins to the super machines that sew and embroider with designs generated at a home computer.
