Beginning Heirloom Sewing
In this class we will make a notebook of several heirloom techniques. We will explore lace to lace, lace to fabric, pin tucks, wing needle and other techniques.

The Smocked Bishop
This is a new class using old techniques, which are sometimes the best. In this case, straight smocking a bishop has proven to be easier and quicker while producing wonderful results. This will cut your prep and smocking time in half. Try it, you will love it.

Picture Smocking
Learn the techniques of stacked cables and embellishments to create special figures in your smocking.
Prerequisite: Beginning Smocking. With Cathy Tiemann, $25.00 price includes practice piece and design plate.

Beginning Smocking
Learn smocking stitches and begin creating a beautiful smocked garment for yourself or a child. Students will learn how to read smocking plates and patterns and will receive tips on the construction of smocked garments.

Construction of Smocked Clothing
In this class, you will learn all the techniques and tips used in the construction of a smocked garment. Bring the front already smocked and other pieces cut out. We will begin with making and applying piping and cover everything needed to finish the dress.
